  • It is highly suggested that beginners first complete a Yoga 101 Class or Intro to Yoga Class before entering an all level yoga class.
  • Unless specified, classes will be a normal room temperature between 70-73 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Heated classes are between 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Hot classes are between 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Bring a hand towel for heated and hot classes please if you will need one.

 


Vinyasa Yoga

An energizing and invigorating class designed to give your body a cardiovascular awakening, strengthen and stretch muscles, and work the whole body. This rigorous style of yoga synchronizes breath with movement through an active sequence of sun salutations and postures. The continuous flow, with emphasis on proper alignment, deepens breathing, increases endurance, and will help you find the edge of your balance and flexibility. We recommend having some prior yoga experience before entering into a vinyasa class for the first time.

Slow Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga or postures that flow from one to the next with the breath. This class will progress at a slower pace allowing students to settle into postures before moving to the next. Burn away impurities and gain awareness of your mind and body through the postures and transitions. Using breath, bandhas, and slow flowing movements you will ignite the inner fire. The slower pace will allow isometric engagement of the muscle and is evidence you are building strength and stamina. All levels.

Yoga 101

Beginner friendly, or for all levels. Have you always wanted to try yoga, but felt a little intimidated to step onto a mat? Are you ready for a class that teaches yoga in a down-to-earth style? The most difficult part of yoga is getting started! The intention of this class is to understand the core fundamentals of yoga, and the elements that compose a safe and healthful practice. Classes will include open with as short open discussionin a comfortable and welcoming environment, and yoga postures will be demonstrated in beginner variations, so all students can progress at their own mindful pace. All levels and beginners are welcome.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ancient tradtion and set series of postures. Guided by the breath, the teacher will take you through this dynamic series of postures. Begin with the breath and build heat with flowing sun salutations then move to standing postures, seated postures, balancing, twisting, and back bending. Allow the natural physiological relaxation phase of the muscle to take you deeper with each exhale. Very opening practice. Level 1/Intermediate

Yin Yoga

Slow practice with postures held for 2-5 minutes. Directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues. It targets the connective tissues such as ligaments and joints of the body that are normally not exercised much. This class actively strengthens and allows opening and flexibility of the hips, pelvis, low spine, and release of bound or tight muscles and connective tissues. All levels

Hatha All Level Yoga

The Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness underlies the methodology of teaching yoga. Consequently, Hatha yoga teachers, first and foremost, look for the good in all things, especially within themselves and their students. Hatha yoga teachers help enhance and reveal the beauty and Divine qualities that are already present in the students' poses. They do not try to "fix" or "correct" students' alignment. Instead, they are dedicated to serving each student and helping them unveil their innate goodness, worthiness, and Supreme nature. Furthermore, Hatha yoga teachers are committed to helping build and empower each student's self-esteem, while inspiring light-heartedness, playfulness, and joyful creativity within the yoga practice. This class is different every time. Be prepared to sweat, tone muscles, and burn fat! This awesome workout alternates intervals of strength exercises and cardio blasts using a variety of equipment as well as your own body weight. This class is designed to get your blood pumping and that heart rate up. Interval Training

A tabatas style class works to get the body into a supra-aerobic, or anerobic, state. By creating an oxygen debt and burning off the blood sugar in our systems, our body moves to burning fat for energy. We will do intervals that break a minute down into two parts: high intensity and resting sets. In this general breakdown, there will be 20 seconds of all out intensity of a cardio or strength move, followed by a 10 second rest. This is repeated for four minutes in most tabatas sets, but there are several variations on this theme that will be experienced in this interval class. In other words, this class is a fun, fast paced, fat blasting high intensity interval class that will help improve stamina.
